The 2012 edition of the Evesham Vale Road Race will be 4 and a half laps of the Inkberrow circuit in Worcestershire starting at 9.30 completing 100km. It has once again attracted a very competitive full field of 80 riders plus reserves. Devon's Primal Europe Powered by Rutrainingtoday.co.uk has a six man team at the race including local rider Tom Stockdale. Brother Ben Stockdale finishing 5th last year and 4th the year before will also be there riding for Metaltek-Scott. Other big teams looking to control the race are Felt racing, Cadence Cannondale, Herbalife Leisure Lakes Bikes and Cycle Premier Racing Team. Other riders to watch out for will be Simon Holt (Team Raleigh), Lee Davies (Node 4 Giordana), Richard Cartland (Corley Cycles) and local rider Ian Alexander (Cheltenham & County CC).

To encourage members to participate in Evesham Wheelers' own club races in 2012, there will be no charge for paid up members of the club to take part in them. Outside riders will be charged £3 per race. Normal entry fees apply to races not organised by our club.
