The First Great Shakespeare Ride 22nd August 2010

9 Evesham Wheelers completed the first Great Shakespeare Ride in aid of the Shakespeare Hospice last Sunday. Starting in Stratford upon Avon, this 100 mile sportive followed a challenging route through the North Cotswolds taking in the climbs of Tysoe Hill, Sudeley Hill, Snowshill and Larkstoke.
Nigel Keats was the first club member home in 6hrs 34 mins followed by tandem riders Steve Mcgrath and Tracy Freeman in 7hrs 46 mins. The other 6, crossed the line in 7hrs and 59 mins.
